This is my design for holding 3ds buttons that I used in my Wii S Lite. The files are in Sketchup (sorry 
) but they're there if anyone wants to use them. The buttons are for the original 3ds, not the XL, and are made to work with the circuit board for the DPAD. There are screw posts for it too, and is probably just about the thinnest you can make your ABXY and DPAD buttons vertically.
