    So just a small wire jumping from the video output ground to any ground on the board? Initially I tried just cutting and stripping old video cables, from a PS2 I believe, assuming that way I could just plug the yellow,white,red connectors into the tv to test if it still works. but I couldn't...

    When wiring video, where do you wire the ground from the board? To LCD or to the battery? Any particular gauge wire I should use to wire the lcd to the main board?
