Hello,
I got a lot of wii remote to repair and usually it's just a case of cleaning the corrosion, but I have this one Motion Plus remote that had so much corrosion on it that some resistances seems to have fell off.
I often check the LEDs' voltage on the positive side to see if the correct voltage is received and it's only getting 1.2V out of 3.2V. I assume it has some to do with the missing components but it's hard to tell with the little info I could find about those controllers. Best I got was some scans by a very helpful user here of the different layers.
I don't have another model to compare and figure out what's the value for the resistor I should use, so if anyone has some idea or another Motion Plus controller to compare.
I'd like to know the Ohm value for R15 which seems to link the sync switch to the positive rail and R61 which links that big capacitor and the chip under the black foam block to the positive rail.
If anyone has more info about Wii Remote repair and trouble shooting, I would gladly take it.
