BitBuilt Welcome Thread!

Hello! New here, just joined. Excited to use some of this time to build a portable wii! Decided to start an account to ask questions and hopefully find a board trimming service (im a little hesitant to cut it myself)

Hey everyone, I am new to electronics but I want to make a handheld gameboy/nes/snes emulator. Where can I go to start learning?

Howdy! I have some education in electronics and was looking for a way to apply it to a hobby when I came across a bunch of modding and portibilizing videos on youtube and found a link to this forum. Looking forward to learning the specifics and diving into my own projects!

Oh, I guess I never introduced myself. I'm Geb from MR, or basically that place that I delete spambots from a couple of times a week and nothing else happens. I have a bit more time now, so I might start kicking around these parts again.
I wouldn't count on it, though. Changing routines is difficult, ya know.

Hello everyone! I've been following the portablizing scene for a while now and I just finished building my first portable Wii!

I need to post a certain number of times first I think but I will definitely post there as soon as I can!

With Corona giving me ample free time I decided to start a project of making a portable wii after being inspired by Shank's amazing projects.

My username on most things will be waldie, and I hope I get to become a great member of the community on here.

Thanks for making such an awesome place for learning and projects! :D

White. I am the one who portablizes.

Hi, I'm Noah =)

I'm interested in modding and I'm here to learn more. I mainly joined because I'd like to commission some of the talented people on here to build a custom portable. My idea is kind of simple I just want a normal switch in a switch lite sized ish body. There's another big detail but I'll make a full post on the user trading area. Hopefully I'll be able to show this forum to my little brother and he can get into modding too. He's really into gaming and has been building his own game using Mugen.

Hello! after seeing Wii portables blow up in popularity on youtube and remembering i've seen videos of portables from long ago when I was younger without realizing what it was, it has gotten me very invested in making one of my own. I am familiar with BitBuilt but very inexperienced in portablizing and especially electronics. I hope to become knowledgeable enough to make my own portable and do other things in the console modification family tree, but in the meantime i'll be teaching myself how a capacitor works :XD:

A portable huh? That is super cool, I'd love to see pictures.

I just started getting into modding and I have a lot of training ahead of me. does anyone have any advice? I would really appreciate it...
