That's legit and run by @ohkin86 here on the forums. Whether it's worth it or not is up to you. I think trimming is part of the process though, and it's honestly quite exhilarating when the trim finally works.

Haha dope. Yeah the more I’ve been reading the more I’m leaning towards that just for the sense of accomplishment.

Man I’m so excited. I’m so happy you guys did this because I was bummed when the g-boy kits stop being produced. Heck I don’t even think the pcb files were available I think people were trying to reverse engineer everything.

Yeah, totally! That's why I end up doing my trims. Also I'm not entirely sure if the specific version of OMGWTF that ohkin does is compatible with the XBU. I can check that for you if you'd like.

Same for me, I'm really happy that we get to make Wii portablizing more accessible than it was before, and (hopefully) more widespread. Yeah I think that's the case. The files are here on the forums somewhere but it's definitely worth building a Xii-Boy console instead. I may be biased but it's only true

Alright, so I don't believe it would work just because of the tight clearance needed around the screw posts at the top. We suggest cutting diagonally on the trim in order to ensure that there's room for the screw posts, but ohkin's trims all seem very boxy (see attached files.) Obviously it would vary on a per-trim basis though. Here's an image of a trimmed Wii inside the Xii-Boy Ultra.
