I recently took a break from this to try to gather any sort of energy to put in this project, and I came back to the wii showing some strange signs of life. When the right power rails are supplied the wii's CPU and GPU heat up and their vias will show a variety of voltages but nothing is shown when VGA is wired up... I attempted to get video out with composite but learned my screen doesn't like it so I went full in with VGA. I know there are a lot of issues with both the wii and screen board but the screen works perfectly fine, I also have different color magnet wire coming so ignore that. The only thing I was able to tie to this issue was my U10 and U9 broke so I ended up buying the BD45302GCT-ND because it was the cheapest replacement that wasn't out of stock. Has anyone else had this problem? or does this just look like a perfect U10 failure.

I'm no expert on portable Wii's (still building my own), but I see a gash in the side of your motherboard. The wii board needs to be sanded smooth around the sides to prevent any traces shorting together. The traces in that cut are obviously not sanded down.
Also, your VGA wires are not twisted together very well, not sure how much of an issue that is.
