Im going to order a copper sheet to add on top of my fan/heatsink and solder the reg board to copper sheet. I’m also going to redo my cooling system just like @thedrew did on his portable hopefully it works.

Small Update:

My printer gave out on me so i can’t reprint a new shell with the edits I made but the ps2 still works with small modifications I made to shell.

First issue ps2 was shutting off after an hour of use that’s with no copper sheet, and now just by redirecting the fan towards the reg board it stayed on for 2 hours, hopefully once I add the copper sheet and new thermal paste it will stay cooler.

Another thing I’m fixing is my power bank charge board this thing drains my batteries super quick so I’m replacing with a 2s bms with everything connected it draws 1.7amp.

First off I have learned a valuable lesson and that is to never release anything until it’s 100% tested and working. Even though I had no issues when using gmans pms next time I would wait on releasing any new stls.

Finally I was able to finish it even after my printer broke, I made the last tweaks using my Dremel it doesn’t look pretty but at least it doesn’t turn off.

I don’t understand how I finished it and I forgot to take pictures. So if anyone has any questions about wiring let me know I’ll gladly help you.

Thanks and yes to much heat inside the housing so it would freeze/shutdown after 1 hour. And now after copper sheet new thermal paste I ran it for almost 3 hours it gets warm but no issues so far.

I finally got the necessary components to mount the PMS and by the way I followed your advice and put a copper plate and modify the ventilation of the housing.

That’s awesome, if I see any issues I will post them here but so far everything is working great.

excuse me i have a question about this, why is the GND pin connected to the VCC pin?

When I had them connected the other way the analogs did not work correctly so thanks to @Mister M advice I swapped the gnd and vcc now they work perfect in the orientation I have them in.
