I am using a cut up gc controller and the dual tact mod.

I have 10k resistors for the squishy tacts connected.

Whenever I press the squishy tact on the right everything works great, but when I press the squishy tact on the left it triggers the both the left and right buttons.

I can live with this issue in my portable, but it is really annoying. Is there anything you recommend to fix the problem?

Are you sure about your wiring? Sounds like you did something wrong... Pics help

The 10k resistor is connected to the analog data line and not the 3.3v line if that makes a difference.

The 10k resistor goes between the analog line and ground. The button must go between the analog line and 3.3V. I can't understand from the pics how you wired it up

I tried rewiring, and broke my trimmed gc controller somehow. No response whatsoever from it. Looks like I have to take apart and rewire the front case again:D. I’ll wait until I have motivation to fix it. Right now I feel like smashing the whole thing with a hammer.

It may be worth investing in a GC+. They're cheap, work reliably, and are actually in the store right now.
