[Question] Ps2P Left stick is vertically inverted and right stick does triangle and square?

Hello, I got a small question.
I wired these two sticks

to the controllers motherboards spots for the sticks (the row below the black swab)

Problem is, left stick up is down, down is up. right stick does random face button inputs. whats worse, I checked with pad emu elf from uelf, and

Left stick neutrally was Lx 128 Ly 128
Left stick up was Lx 128 Ly 255
Left stick down was Lx 128 Ly 0
Left stick left was Lx 0 Ly 128
Left stick right was Lx 255 Ly 128

same for right, so technically my config is right, so wtf is happening? thanks

DUDE I TESTED IT AND THE NORMAL CONTROLLER STICKS ARE 0 for UP and 255 FOR DOWN WHY????????????????????????. also right stick is ok apparently so thats good at least
