Hey, so I've been working on a PS2 slim that I want to fit inside my car.
I did the PS2 UltraSlim mod and now I've directly soldered the power wires and AV cable directly to the board while also soldering a Bitfunx Fortuna FreeMcBoot and a Bitfunx MX4SIO card directly to the board.
I have tripple checked my work since I'm nowhere near a professional, there are no shorts and the pins on the boards are soldered to the right pins on the connectors.
I tried plugging it on my PC using an AV to HDMI and a HDMI to USB adapter to capture the video on OBS and it works, BUT, it freezes right when the Browser and System Configuration.
The system did work after the PS2 UltraSlim mod and just to be sure I desoldered the wires from the 2 cards and it still freezes...
Also, I have taped the entire back of the cards and added a piece of 3M double-sided tape to stick to the board, just to make sure the boards aren't touching and shorting anything out.
Any help would be much appreciated, I'm really stuck on this..
Also, here is a picture of the motherboard:
EDIT!
So it looks like my controller port 1 doesn't work, it powers the adapter (I have wireless controllers) and it does pair with the PS2 but the RX led is flashing steadily and the controller does nothing, swapping to port 2 works, just had to set the date and time. Now I just need to figure out why port 1 doesn't work...
