Question ps2 portable ?

Is there a way to make a ps2 portable with disc drive and external controller support ?
I have a slim if the model matters
It doesn't matter if its one or the other

Working on this and my N64 thing at the same time. Figured I'd post something. Need batts for the N64, so this helps kill the time whilst I wait for those.

So it's definitely possible but be prepared to have to build it in a bigger form factor as you probably won't be able to trim much off if at all to keep disc drive functionality. Also build it with a lot of batteries as the disc drive is a power hungry boy lol. I think ashen used a bunch of cells equaling around 11v or something

wow, maybe it's better to just use digital games. It also doesn't look like an easy first project.
