Hi guys, It's me again.
again because I made a simmilar post a while ago when I didn't know anything and you guys were kind enough to give me some very good pointers.
I'm back cuz I've improved and I'm going to try this again and I'd like to ask some questions.
1: how do I wire the controller to the board?
do I just heat the connection, desolder it and solder on the wire from the contoller? does anybody have a good image of how that would look?
I'm currently thinking of doing something like this: (this is just frayed and tightened wire, I'll solder it solid later, this is just an example)
would smth like this work? alternatively Ill break apart the housing on the actual connector and use those prongs. Im trying to make this as low profile as possible WITHOUT changing the board in any way. (yes, no trim either)
2: how should I split and wire the controls? I want a vita layout but obs I have to split the board, so I was thinking of doing it like this,
and reconnecting it like this?
(grinding down until copper, adding solder and flux and connect them)
would this work?
3: how should I wire A / V out? the screen I got takes the yellow and white plugs from the actual AV out cable (thats only video I got another idea for audio ), but that increases profile by a lot, is there any guide as to how to wire av out from off the board? getting the YRW cables WITHOUT the bulky connector would be best
lastly, would anybody have a 3d model for a generic casing?
Thank you all.
