does anybody have the pinout to solder the controller onto the motherboard.
 
I just want to point out that different brands will have different wiring, so double check yours before following a guide.
 
@Madmorda is correct, the link above is for a Sony PS2 controller, not every third party controller would follow those colours. The best way would be to open up the controller connector and see exactly which wires connect to which point on the female connector. Then based on that you should be able to find out the point on the board.
 
Thanks for the reply I have a third party controller from eBay a blue one. The thing is that I took apart the controller and I lost the paper where I wrote down the pinout

using a Game/Gamestop controller.

Motherboard pins from left to right, pin 8 is not used. The motherboard is CPU side up (You should see the CPU and EE+GS chips on the top).

9 is the left most pin on the port descending to pin1 on the farthest right of the pins.
