Question Portable Wii

wire up a screen, regulators, and power and see if it still works

You need a case too right?

Actually how do you get a case? Do you 3D print it or buy it?
You can design and print your own case, you can print a publically available case like the G-Wii or Ashida, or you can construct a case from other plastic enclosures like we used to do back before 3D printing was a thing. You could also use a 3D printing service to have someone else print the case and ship it to you for a fee. It's up to you.

If you are to design your own case, be sure to do it last so you can take proper measurements of all the working parts and then fit them in instead of having to completely redesign it after realizing not everything fits right.

If you aren’t designing your own case, ignore what I said lol.

What do you mean when you say print a publicly available case. Does that mean 3D printing?

Okay Thanks!

Like the case, how to you get the screen. Also what do the regulators do?

*What are the regulators for?

Also you need buttons so how do you get those?

On eBay, search 5 inch 680x480 screen with driver board. The regulators set proper voltage for powering the Wii. I suggest using the RVL PMS 2 which you can buy from 4layertech.com

Widely available on eBay and many other sites, just get a set of Gamecube buttons (or whatever buttons you’d like)

RVLoader is the custom software developed and created by Aurelio. It made BBLoader and PortablizeMii obsolete because of its added quality of life features. It basically removes the need for a disc drive and the WiFi module, along with being able to navigate to games without a Wii remote.
