Question Please help with controls on Ashida

I'm building an Ashida and about ready to close it up, but the d-pad and left stick are giving me trouble. For the D-pad, pressing the right direction will also trigger the down and sometimes up directions. There are no apparent shorts and I'm pretty sure this is something physical, either with the button, case, or silicon pad. For the left stick, I just can't get the stick wizard to fix it. It essentially inputs backwards/reversed. Any suggestions and help are welcome.
