NIFTY, the portable I made for myself, in my quest for the ultimate mini.
NIFTY needs customized fpc and pcb, the fpc is mainly responsible for data transfer from wii motherboard to pcb.
(fpc connects to bluetooth and usb via bending)
-For the power supply, I used YveltalGriffin's open source thundervolt.
-Audio uses the open source lm49450, (currently I don't know what the reason is, it doesn't work properly, I plan to replace it with a cheaper chip instead)
-Onboard av output with a small 2.4 inch screen.
-Using the GC2.0 control
-Onboard mx chip and bluetooth, and GCVIDEO output hdmi video signal to connect to a larger monitor.
-Uses bq25895 for charging, packs a 5000 mAh lithium battery
-Overall size: length 10cm, width 6.5cm.(thickness may be controlled within 4cm)
Regarding the pending issues-
-Audio module needs to be addressed at this time
-Reboot for no reason, (could be an alignment issue)
-Malfunctioning of the GC module LR button, (have checked that the connection is ok, could be the alignment as well)
-Baiting module
-Flexible rows are too long, may need to customize the fpc to shorten the length
I'll share these first, (I'm lazy to post, I'll update when there's new progress-)
Thanks for all the help I got from everyone in the community bitbuilt, I wouldn't have made it this far without your contributions!
Here's a picture of me when I made it
