Based on what I'm seeing here the best course of action for improvements is:
1. cut your wire as short as possible, the extra length is begging to short anything that those wires touch. trimming them to about the size of your pad and working from there ensures a tight connection where no shorts can come about

2. Tin your wire before soldering to the pad. It looks like you stripped the wire and then immediately tried to solder it to the board. Strip your wire, twist it, and heat the wire up with your soldering iron while "feeding" the wire a little solder. This will ensure your wires have no loose strands and will make it easier to solder to the board

3. I see you're using flux, which is great, but make sure you clean any flux residue with isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush (Preferably not the one you put in your mouth)
Other than that, good luck and practice a lot. If it's your first time soldering small, get a few practice kits for microsoldering before trying to build a portable wii. Not too expensive on amazon, and it's a lot cheaper to ruin a cheap practice kit and buy another one than it is to ruin something like the PMS2 or a wii motherboard and buy another one.
