Rather than post repeatedly in a short time-frame, use the edit functionality to amend a previous message. "Double posting" spams the new posts section, amongst other things and is considered bad forum etiquette. It's also part of our rules; take a moment to review them if you haven't already.

In terms of your question, Wii games are definitely more sensitive to slow drives or just some drives in general due to how they behave. What did you mean by "A usb" and "external drive"? I presume the latter is referring to a USB attached hard drive?

That's quite typical for Wii games, as Crash said they're more sensitive. USB hard drives are a bit slow on the draw when it comes to providing requested files, there's a latency that can wig out the Wii. Other loaders have some extra optical drive emulation wizardry built in for maximum compatibility, but RVLoader is designed specifically for portables using USB flash drives or microSD card adapters that respond very quickly, so USB hard drives and solid state drives are quite hit or miss due to that latency and some other factors.

IIRC Aurelio has said that hard drive support is not on the roadmap for RVLoader, so you'll either need to get a compatible USB drive or get lucky with a quick enough HDD.
