Just started to plan out everything before i trim my wii for the ashida build ive been working on. Just to confirm, i will not need to relocate u10 as one of the other components emulates it, correct? Another question i had was is the wire that connects the positive side of the 3v battery to TP118 the same kind as the one that connects the negative side? I checked the mx relocation guide but it didnt clarify very clearly

Correct, you don't need to do the U10 relocation if you're using a PMS-2 or PMS-Lite. You just run a wire from the U10 pad on the PMS to the U10 via on the Wii and it does the same job as the relocation.

For the CMOS battery, the negative terminal for the cell can be connected to any ground location
