Question Lost a resistor on the PMS 2

Hi, I was wiring up voltages to my wii to test it and I accidentally knocked off a resistor on my PMS board and I was wondering if would still work with out it Here’s a picture of which resistor it was

That's a capacitor that you knocked off, not a resistor. If I had to guess, I'd say that it might very well still work without that cap since caps tend to be redundant and there's usually more caps in place than are needed. That said, it would probably be best if you replaced it. There's no guarantee that this PMS will work and keep working as intended without it.
 
Sure thing! If I were you, I'd clean up the residual solder beads as those have shorting potential and could end up permanently damaging something if left as they are. For reference, I'm talking about this:

It's also a good idea to clean up extra flux left on the board with some isopropyl alcohol (even no clean flux needs to be cleaned up afterwards). The only other thing I'll say is that the tinned end of your wire could also be shortened a bit more, but what you have there is probably fine. Keeping the tinned side of the wires short is important to prevent shorting them with other wires.
