Greetings aside. The soldering here has a bit of room for improvement. The third capacitor has a really big ugly blob, I don't know if that's causing this to not work since there's quite a bit that could cause it not to. Another thing that's really important is wire length, your wires should be as short as possible while also being very close to being the same length. Looking at the third wire starting from the left, I see an unnecessary bend in it, and that trend sorta continues as I follow along with the rest of the wires. You want the wires to be as straight as possible while also being the shortest length possible while also being as close as possible to being the same length. The uncleaned flux isn't going to help this sort of thing, and I have heard of situations where uncleaned flux has supposedly prevented something from working. I'm skeptical of whether or not that's even possible, but with how sensitive this is, that could also be the case here.
The Akira method is extremely sensitive, and requires a ton of precision. Something else I'll mention is that one wire going to R33 appears to be a larger gauge. It should be the same gauge as the other wires here, there's no need for it to be larger, so definitely also replace that. Also, it's a little difficult to see under where the resistors are, but it's really important that you remove ALL of the copper that was below where the expansion port pins were. I'm not saying you didn't remove enough since it's hard to say for certain, I'm just giving you something to keep in mind.
The last thing I want to mention here is that
@CrazyGadget made a flex for the Akira method. It's MUCH easier to install and make work than the original wire method, and I would
highly recommend you switch to that over this for resilience as well as ease of installation.
I'll tell ya what though, it's been a long while since I've seen anyone even attempt a proper wired Akira method, and I respect the hell out of the effort! It's NOT an easy relocation by any means, and you've done a not terrible job for a first attempt! Best of luck on this!
