Would a laser doodle work without trimming because I thing it would be a good case if not I will use the og case

I'm not sure, I've never even seen one in person. Best bet would be to either find measurements or look at worklogs for portables that people have used that as a case for.

If you google "lazer doodle n64" and scroll down through the images, you will get to the pictures of the internals of his project, and see that he fit the mobo in without even having to rotate it 90 degrees.
