Gboy game question.

I recently bought a gboy Rev 3 kit do I have to make backups of my GameCube and Wii games before I trim the wii motherboard or is there a way to do it after? Thank-you for any help.

That's something you need to do before trimming, or just use a different Wii to back up your discs.

Thank-you for your response. Just to clarify if I used the same USB drive that I used to install BB loader onto my trimmed Wii motherboard on another Wii that wasn't trimmed I could use clean rip on the non trimmed Wii to back up my games and it would still work when I use with my trimmed gboy motherboard? I hope that makes sense.
