All posts in public threads are publicly visible immediately, unless the post is by a new user in which case a few checks are done by the site bot to ensure the post isn't spam. That can take a bit sometimes, but patience wins the day

Ho! The urge to get back into it and play around with consoles and game hardware caught me once again after a long absence. I've modified a handful of consoles with chips and RGB outputs but it feels like I'm green again.
I've been thinking about modifying a controller and when I heard about Wesks scanning endeavours and felt it was worth checking out. It sounded very useful for my project but what attracted me was more the spirit of releasing and hosting the files publicly. Very cool.

Hello! Ive been researching wii portables with the intention of trimming an excess wii i had laying around. this will be powered via usbc pd (at 12v with a spoofed usbc port set to a constant 12v dc.) I’ve ordered 5 PTH08080W dc regulators and already have some 1/4w 5% resistors i can use to set the regulator voltages (I will of course be only be using 4 of them though.) I’m planning on using YPbPr component video with an external upscaler. im planning on wiring the video data lines straight to a YPbPr passthrough port(I cant think of a much better solution tbh.)I’ve ordered a nice brand name dremel and some cutting bits. I have a nice 512gb micro usb drive coming to load all of my ripped games onto. I’m still in the process of ripping games and only have 2 clean rips in wbfs format for testing purposes. Tonight I’m going to be testing out the full functionality of the donor wii with the only change to it being Vloader installed to get a baseline of functionality before i start ripping into it further If you have any recommendations for wiring YPbPr Component video and analog audio out via rca then please feel free to link a more appropriate type of connector or just give me your input! I also joined the discord
