BitBuilt Welcome Thread!

Hi! I've been on the forum for a while but never posted in the welcome thread. Just finished my Ashida today so hopefully there will be a Cutting Edge post soon.

Hello! I have been tinkering with mods on my consoles and handhelds more and more in the last couple of years, and recently I found a Wii for $20 at Goodwill and couldn't resist the little voice in my head telling me to make a Wii portable :XD: so I'm already well underway with putting together an Ashida. Will probably need a little help here and there. Happy to be here!

Im new to this site and its forms. I've dabbeled in modding before but nothing major. Just modded a couple of original style GBA's with backlit Led screens. Nothing major, but other then that im completly clueless when it comes to moding. Hoping to get better becuse I got some major Ideas.

Hi! My name is Nolan and I have been paying attention to Wii portables and have been planning on building one for over a year now, but I have just created my account on BitBuilt. I am planning on building an Ashida, and already have most of the parts. I just need the Wii, harvested parts from Wii Classic Controller, and Gamecube buttons and rubber pads (and maybe the board that CrazyGadget made which allows button combinations to choose screen controls, but I will likely decide if I want that towards the end of my project, if I can find a way to get my hands on one lol). I also still need to purchase items such as solder and wire. I will likely make a work log when I start!

Hi! Joining because I’m interested in doing some fun modding work on some retro consoles we have lying around, but I have zero electronics knowledge and want to make sure I’m doing things safely and efficiently!

Hi, would like to build my own portable console or something in the future. I am only a beginner modding things but would still like to try.

Hello! I am here to build my first portable, working on an Ashida right now. Hoping to start a worklog because I do have questions:D

hello I'm noonja, I installed my first picoboot just recently and have now delved into the rabbit hole of console modding. I am most interested in consolize mods, if anyone has any recommendations for where to start for honing general modding skills, it would be greatly appreciated.
