The SNES should be fairly easy to make a portable of as it's quite well documented

Hello! I've been itching to get into modding since the KillMii mysteriously landed in my recommendations on youtube. Already did a dumb though after accidentally buying a 6 layer instead of a 4 layer so if that's an indication of how this endeavor will go this will be at the very least interesting!

I recently bought a lot of 7 "broken" wiis on ebay.
Turns out most of them only had bent cases and shot disk drives.

I'm still trying to figure out what i'll do with all of these.

If you want to put in a lot of work you could make some wii portables. Might also be able to sell the motherboards here if they are 4 layer.

I got into all of this when I saw Shank Mods' video of the WiiVision he and Gman created. Then I found out thanks to them, it's possible for an average Joe like me to make something like this as well. I eventually discovered Bitbuilt shortly after!

Hello! I've been inspired by Wii portables for years now, and I finally decided I want to make my own. I've been doing a ton of research, bought just like... 5 more Wiis (I can stop when I want to I swear!). I don't know much about modding Wiis, but I'm sure I'll learn almost all of what I need to know here! Even if I fail in the process of making a portable, I know I'll have a ton of fun trying.

Hey everyone, I am really interested in console modding and want to start my 1st portable project asap. I have programming experience working with devices like GPU, FPGA, microprocessors, and have had a lot of practice breadboarding and doing circuit analysis. If anyone has a recommendation on a 1st project or 1st portable that is a good starting point please let me know!
