Hello all,
So typically I've finished my PS2p and was left thinking "I wish the insides were cleaner" and then had a crazy idea that'd require me to make my own PCB for handling the controller to come up with a solution. Simple question:
-Are there any PCB files for the PS2 controller freely...
So I've been working on my portable concept over in my Mini-keyboard 3D-printing thread, but I figured that such a project would make a great 2018 summer contest entry.
The goals of the project are thus:
Comfortable physical keyboard and gaming controls
Moderately compact
Clamshell (?)
Battery...
This project is now dead. Keep an new variation of it in the future!

First up: Long time lurker, and a first time poster. I guess I've got this far without any questions because of how complete everyones post and build logs are! I'd call myself an "amateur electrical hobbyist" as I've no University level training, but have accrued enough experience to fix/mod the...
I have recently started on a Wavebird controller project that involves dissecting and documenting the circuit board. I have ammassed some useful information that I hope others can use as well, so I'm posting everything I have so far. I will keep the link and images up to date, since I'll still...
As the title implies, I've got no rumble in my cube controller after a trim on a 4 layer board. The rumble worked before the trim and the controller is getting 5 volts so I'm not really sure what's going on here. The trim works fine as well (obviously). I have a wasp fusion installed on a cube...
I'm a lot further along with my first PS2P now nearly finished I dare say... But I've another problem I can't work out. I'm using the Pro evolution soccer controller which has the analog sticks on a separate board as well as solder pads ready printed on the button main board (Guess the company...
I guess that the title says it all... is the 64CC Portable edition only for use with an original N64 controller or will it work with a really generic 4 wire aftermarket. You can see from the picture what I'm dealing with... and OEM controllers are hard to come, (more rare) and way more...
This is the last of my old projects I'm going to post on BitBuilt. I'm resolving that anything going forward will be current projects. That way I'll actually be motivated to work on something new.
Dreamcast ControlView is a DC controller with a 3.5" screen in place of the VMU window. It uses a...
I have been kept away from playing my PlayStation 1 and 2 games by the fact that I dislike the controller. I think that the left joystick should go in the top left as in most controllers (Xbox, gamecube, 3ds, etc) and I think that its placement on Sony controllers is very uncomfortable. To solve...
Hello all,
Today I was wiring up my controls to my new GC+ board and found, to my great surprise, that while everything else works like a charm my C-stick appears to have the X and Y axis flipped, both with very decreased sensitivity. I followed the gamecube joystick pinout for my wiring and...
Alright, so as a part of the ongoing bits towards building my Gamecube Laptop, still in it's infancy of the design stages, I am going to be building a custom arcade style controller to use as the main controls.
I plan to use Aurelio's controller board for the ease of use and space saving, as I...
