Hello Everyone!
I finally started building my first Wii Portable. My end goal is to have an Ashida with Bluetooth, Video out and a build in sensor bar. I'm trying to document every step a well as I can so people can recreate everything!

Trim is already completed and sanding all done!

U10 relocation seems successful, now I have to test for Video out :)
Any recommendations to secure the tiny solder points so they don't break?

Already got to testing it and the trim works! Got Video out on the second try! (The first time the AV cable Connection broke)
(And don't ask how I connected the battery )

I finished the base of my Ashida! Worked on it for the last two days and got most of it working! (Thanks to Viilmo who helped me troubleshooting video, for anyone wondering, apparently I didn't set up the VGA patch in the RVloader installer and had to reinstall it)

Good for you! Im excited to finish mine hopefully in the next few weeks.

Sadly I have a few things to troubleshoot:
1. Audio works, but the volume dial does not work and headphones are not recognized
2.Some games (smash Bros melee or super Mario sunshine) don't have video, I can hear from the speakers that they are running, but the screen is either red or just off. Games like so wind waker, MKWii or Donkey Kong country return work just fine.

Not sure if this is related, but the games you mentioned dont work are both gamecube, maybe theres something wrong that affects gc games and not wii ones.

I've read on the forums that some PAL versions of games are troublesome, so I'll look into that in the upcoming days. As for the audio I'll open a new thread to better discuss it

Well I guess the audio issue fixed itself?
I've been using the controller to adjust the volume since potentiometer didn't work at first. This morning I decided to set the adjustment setting back to potentiometer and it just worked?! Of course I had to try headphones as well and they work too!

I'm currently trying to do the Bluetooth relocation but I'm running into some issues. I installed it but when trying to go the Wii menu the Wii crashes which I suppose means the Bluetooth module isn't recognized...
Any ideas what I did wrong?
(At first I had gnd soldered to the bottom screw post but I moved it up to see if that would fix it but no luck :/)

I tested every connection with my multimeter and all of them seem fine

If you try system menu with VGA, it will not work because the vga patch not works in it. You can test the bt module with the system menu or you can enable it in games configuration menu and if the game launches, the bluetooth module works.
Sorry if my english is not very good, i'm french:awesome:

I got everything working! Video out works too!!

You can add a slide switch to choose between composite external video or vga on internal screen out by connecting it enter 3.3v and mode pin
