I'm currently taking on my first Ashida Build and I've encountered an issue during post-trimming testing, I can't seem to get a video out signal. Currently using a repurposed 18650 from a M12 Milwaukee battery, voltage is 4.022v. All the resistances were good and no shorts were present. I've redone all the joins to verify good contact and still no video out. I currently have a PMS-Lite wired up.

I'm wondering if anyone has a good image/diagram showing what wires go where, specifically to the AV connector. I see that pins 3 and 5 need to be soldered but some diagrams label 5 as an Audio Ground, is my issue that the I need to source a different ground or is the Audio Ground sufficient? I was following Dubesinhower's video on YouTube and he encountered an issue with the termination resistor on the composite circuit, he ended up wiring the connector to C57(Composite video wire) and TP50(Ground Wire) instead to get his Video Signal. I initially wired the connector to C576 and TP50 to avoid the same issue then later used 34 AWG Enameled Copper Wire instead to hook the connector to the video circuits, still no luck. I also removed the enameled wire and verified good contact by scraping the wire with a razor blade where the solder bonds.

I have NOT relocated U10 to U5 as I've seen comments making mention of it NOT being necessary as the PMS-Lite does U10 Emulation.

Is there anything I could be missing?

Do you have a second cell on hand to wire up? Sometimes Wiis won't boot with only one cell connected

I've wired up a second battery and now can feel heat coming from the CPU, so it's definitely getting power. But still no video. I checked the voltages and one of the cells is at 3.811v and the other 4.022v, so voltage appears to be within a good range. I also gave the boards a good toothbrush scrub with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol and tested again, IT WORKS!

So, the issue was a combination of not enough power (needed 2 18650 cells, also found post "No Signal Composite Out" from atkfromabove on Apr 18, 2023 to share the same issue) and leftover flux bridging some connections. I appreciate your time and willingness to assist the community, Stiches. Enjoy your Sunday.
