I had a question about a possible pin conflict that I was hoping someone could clarify.
I am using a 4layertech RVL-DD board with my Ashida build, and the Wii vias for the DI and CK pins coincide with two of the data lines of the MX chip. Nothing specifies that these are addressable data lines (such as I2C), so I’m hesitant to connect both sets of lines in parallel. I already relocated the MX chip, so I’d like to know if either (1) I can wire up the DD with no issues, or (2) I have to remove the MX chip to use the DD.
To provide some visual context, here’s the RVL-DD wiring instructions (note the DI and CK pin solder points on the Wii):
These seem to coincide with the solder points for data pins 14 and 11 on the MX chip:
Any guidance would be appreciated- I want to be sure of the compatibility or lack thereof before I make any changes. Thank you!
