In my post I made a few days ago, I showed off my first Wii portable using a 12v battery pack, but over time the battery pack decreases in voltage like all batteries do, I want to know if I where to run the battery from the fully charged 12v down to let’s say 5V, does the under voltage kill the Wii’s standard on board regulators?

this is the battery if it helps

In this situation you'd only use the 12v out. The Wii's stock regs requires a minimum input of 10.1v to run IIRC, so the last bit of the 12v output is technically lost and 5v out won't boot at all

Thanks, now if the battery runs under 10.1v, will the Wii just shut off due to lack of voltage and be damaged at all or will it be just fine? Sorry if this is a stupid question, I’m new to portablizing.

AFAIK it just shuts off, I'm not aware of that causing any damage to the system
