I finally finished my N64HHv2. After I got some trouble with the joystick calibration, I found a soultion that worked for me. Instead of using Gman's code, I used the code from Jakob Schäfer and made my own PCB for it. I attach the gerber files for anyone that has the same problem. Here are some pictures of my build:

Because I had revision 6 mainboard, I couldn't solder more RAM onto the mainboard. But I really wanted to use my expansion pak, so I cut it to the right size and bent the memory chip to a 90 degree angle.

I also finished my SummerCart64, which is a perfect fit for this portable. You can see it in the 5th picture.

Yes it's their black resin and the shoulder buttons are nylon.

I like your idea of the xpac, but I think bending the PCB and gluing it may be better in the long run for added support. Thanks for sharing about the joystick code, will need to try that in mine!
