Hello there! This is my first post. I have a big question here. Can anyone see what I need to do and what I need to change to get everything to work correctly? I don't think very much is right. Any help at all will mean the world to me. Thank you!

There's quite a few factors at play here. Did you wire this all up for the first time without testing each individual piece?
Does your PMS output the correct voltages?
does your screen accept video in from a known good source?
Did you do a resistance table on all the voltage rails after your trim, and are they all roughly within spec?
what happens when you attempt to turn it on?
Once you go through each of those questions I'm sure you'll have a bit better of an idea on what needs to be fixed. based on the pictures you provided it could be one of 10 million things.

Also, I recommend you take apart some old electronics and practice creating solid solder joints. It looks like your wires may not be tinned properly, and you're definitely not using enough flux. Shoot me a message if you want some help with soldering, but definitely check out a few Youtube videos first. I like Voultar's videos, his mods are interesting and he talks a lot about good and proper technique for soldering.

All that said, props! lots of projects never make it this far in the first place. I look forward to seeing a final product!

I'll take some good notes from that. I really appreciate you taking the time to tell me all that. This has been a project for me to learn about electronics, so there's a lot of stuff I'm learning as I go. I'll look into getting flux as well. Anyways, when I use my multimeter, where should I be putting the ground stick to measure the voltages? Should I set my multimeter to 20 and try and see if each piece can read like 3.3v, 5v, etc? Or am I supposed to do something else? Here's another odd thing. When I stick my multimeter from the positive end of my battery and the positive end on any voltage line, it always says 4 volts.

I also have another complex question. I already relocated the u10 chip, but will it still work if I just stick that wire into the u10 part of my pms? Also, I couldn't get the wire to stay well on the LDO so I I stuck the wire on the little piece to the right instead. Will that work at all?

Anyways, long message, sorry. I really appreciate the help though, it really takes the stress off. I will be watching that guy that you recommended and I'll be practicing. Thank you!
