Hey everyone new here, I'll be starting my journey soon I plan on doing a portable Wii and PS2 and eventually do some other harder projects.

I have 3 Wii's laying around and got a PS2 slim for free today. I plan to start with the Wii because it's seems the most researched and attempted project.

I'm not the greatest solder but I can get things done and will get better of course. I can design and have multiple 3d printers so I'm hoping to do most things on my own.

Hello everyone, i am pretty new to modding.
GingerOfOz showed me with his Project how amazing this Forum is and Mister M blew me away with his Custom PS2 PCB.
I made some smaller mods on PS2. My goal is to make a PS2 Portable, possibly with the PCB from Mister M or a modified version of it.
I may try making a Custom PCB for a smaller Console, the Wii looks like a possible candidate for this or even already Portable ones. I have some knowledge of making simple PCB's.
I often got told that my Projects are impossible wich has discuraged me a lot but as Mister M Stated

the impossible is just the opinion of those who don't try or simply don't want the success of the other

So I am now willing to make my first Project from start to finish.

I've been looking for some time for technical repair details for the Wii and this is the best place I've found. I'm not looking to portabalize my Wii but this has already proven a good resource for working out repairs to it. In particular, I've already managed to replace caps to get my video signal brighter on my Wii, and am now looking for the best info to get both USB ports on my Wii working reliably again (it's almost as if too much voltage is being pulled causing devices plugged in to randomly disconnect and that I may need to replace more caps somewhere).

Hey all i am inventing a brand new kind of wii portable altogether! After i built a battlebot at the age of 13 I decided to do something more advanced and decided on a wii portable. I watched lots of YouTube videos and loved all the portables. I also have a controversial opinion though. The wii was designed to revolutionise gaming with motion controls and i wanted to keep the motion controls in my portable so it uses the original wii mote. I also will not use priiloader because its menu does not feel like the wii so you may as well be using an emulator. Anyway, thats me bye. Ps its called the wii lite.
