I already did the gcvideo mod for my gamecube, so it would save me the $70 required for a new FPGA board. It might also be an easier alternative once badass consoles comes out with their plug-and-play for HD gamecube, since you could use the gamecube's video encoder.

I'm working on a project that you guys might have some input on. I want to trim a wii, and run it like a gameboy player using the high speed port (HSP) on the bottom of the gamecube for power and video. I still have to see what voltage the HSP accepts for the data lines (it's probably 3.3v), but...
