This was a really fun (and time consuming) project from start to finish :D
I re-created my own version of the RE4 chainsaw controller based purely off of images without actually having an original one in-hand (bc it's hella expensive).

The best part of all... I even implemented a working pull-start switch and audio circuit to play chainsaw noises like the original!
(shown off in the video, as well as some gameplay & a bit more design overview!)

I did make some changes to the original controller's button layout for general comfort & making things easier to reach (specifically R2 and L2). Also had to make the d-pad smaller to make room for the joystick modules I used, though it's still very usable imo!
The controller itself is obviously gimmicky for sure, but it honestly feels pretty good to play with. It took some getting used to since the sticks are oriented differently than a normal controller (my muscle memory kept making me go left instead of forward until my brain finally got what was going on lol).

Any recommendations on other games I should try playing with this thing? :ding!:

Looks awesome! As for a game, I would suggest Nicktoons Unite on the PS2 (childhood favorite).
