These are high poly scans
, average poly count per mesh is about 2.5 million triangles.

Thank you so much, Wesk! Your work means that we can breathe new life into the world's greatest trackball. I'll be getting one fabricated as soon as possible to save my MTE from the trash heap! :D

Thank you very much for this. Unfortunately there was a plastic piece that is commonly broken that wasn't scanned. It's the part that holds the trackwheel, and the clip that holds the trackwheel has a tendency to break off on one or both sides.

I'm very grateful for these scans, and would be be extremely grateful if you would reconsider revisiting them to add a scan of this part.

I would consider it but I no longer have the parts to scan.

This doesn't seem like it's all that complicated of an object to 3D model. I don't have one of these otherwise I'd offer to make a model of it for you.

Well, I can take some photos from multiple angles of the part and make some measurements with calipers as well. I'll work on finding one of my Explorers that have that part whole and see what I can do.

Well, I found one that is complete except for a break. I glued the break back in less well than I thought, but hopefully this is still clear and complete enough to work on as photos for modeling. If not I have others that are broken in different places. Calipers available if you let me know what measurements to take.

Upload the images to Bitbuilt, don't use an external provider.

Okay, I was eventually able to find the part whole and unbroken after cracking enough of my bin of broken Trackball Explorers. Here are some more pictures.

I am still hoping that I can package this off to get scanned. I do understand I would not get the part back.
