Where to start with circuitry function/design?

This might be a weird question but I have no clue where to start learning about circuitry design. I see so many of you creating custom circuits and custom PCBs for your projects but don't have a clue where to even begin learning how to do something like that myself.

I have probably the bare knowledge needed for hardware modding, am pretty skilled at soldering (even micro soldering), and have a very very barebones knowledge of circuitry. Like I know certain things but not enough to even properly diagnose a broken PCB without some outside help.

Basically I want to know where I should get started on learning circuit function and design. I'm not averse to paying for some of the online courses I've seen talked about on YouTube and other sites but I don't want to do that without some guidance first.

Maybe if I can learn this I'll be able to create some fun stuff in the future, I already have some ideas but lack the knowledge to make it happen.

I found it best to learn by watching various youtubers videos, Electroboom is nice because hes also entertaining and you will quickly learn what not to do, Eevblog goes more in depth into the topics and also has longer videos but is also entertaining, phils lab has a nice series of kicad and other pcb design tutorials, greatscott also has a couple of videos where he explains various components and if I remember correctly shank also has a playlist where he has saved videos like that.

I'm already subbed to Electroboom and Eevblog, you're spot on with what you said about them. Phil's Lab and Great Scott seem to be what I'm after, thank you for the suggestions! I'll look and see if I can find Shank's Playlist of those videos too.

I’ve followed altiums education course regarding pcb design. Idk if you’ve got access to altium, it could still contain some nice videos about different topics. As far as I know is this course publicly accessible.
