I have a wii I trimmed for a Wii Micro that is exhibiting some strange behavior. It is getting black dots on the screen at all times. I have heard it's called the black dots of death and can possibly be a failing GPU or that it can be due to a bad power supply. I am running the wii via PTH regulators. They all measure out very close to the required voltages (0.1v +/-) but I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue due to underpowered regulators before I decide to trim up a new board. I also have a Analog2HDMI wired up from Electron Shepherd. Not sure if this could be the cause of the issues either? I have the jumpers set to VGA for video and Analog for audio as I enabled the VGA patch via RVLoader and tied the mode to 3.3v to get the best picture possible with this adapter.

Here is an example of what I'm experiencing. It's not my actual footage and it's a little crude but this wii in the video is having the same issues as me.

Welcome to the world of 6 layer Wiis. Just about every one I've trimmed has had this exact issue.

Well dang.... Do you think it could possibly be an issue that 6 layers have? Like we are missing something in the trim that the system relys on to function without this video issue? I know the 6 layers isn't as documented as the 4 layer so there could be a possibility?
