Hey everybody!

Was Cojiro over at bh and mr, but now I'm just going to go by my real name.

I was never super active, but who knows, maybe that will change. I'm out of school now, so more time for projects! I've made a few portable n64s, but this new wii stuff sure does excite me. I'm currently working on a RPI3 in a gameboy pocket, while I figure out what my next major project will be.

Welcome!

Your first N64P is actually one of the few I found on YouTube back in 2010 when I first stumbled upon the community. It's probably one of the biggest inspirations I had back then! :D

Haha, that's awesome. Honored, since you're putting out some pretty good looking portables these days, and most (if not all?) are portrait styled :P

Hello everyone, Lollipop here (modretro and gc-forever). I took a few months off from modding for school and I come back and there's a new forum and the OMGWTF wii is smaller than the OMGWTF gamecube. Well played guys.
I finished 2 cubes recently so I'm looking forward to try out the new wii cuts and maybe if anyone wants we can start on that PS2 ;)?

Hello I am new to modding...i got introduced to it when I saw one of Gman's portable gamecubes...I started to do some research and found out about Ben Heck. I bought His book and am starting my first project. I am completely new to this type of thing so it has been a learning curve for me...I am really enjoying it though and tips and advice you all have is welcomed!

Ben's book is really old, and likely has some outdated information. However, it's probably a good read.

Best tip I can think of right now is that if you like doing modding, it's always worth investing in good tools.

Ya I figured! and he only deals with really old consoles...but I figured they are probably easier then gamecubes, and possibly a better starting point?

Start with whatever console you like the most; you'll be more invested into completing the project, and you'll be happier with your end result. There's plenty of documentation for every relevant Nintendo console and a wealth of information and experience only found here.

Hiya. I'm CommanderBrace. I live in California and I'm active in the project m scene.

I dabble with a lot of customization for controllers. I've painted and sculpted for years. I recently got into aluminum casting, and now I'm looking into portable crafting.

I play league of cancer if you want to troll around with me there. Username is KittenBrix there~

On Facebook my name is Lucas A Phillips if you wanna intensely research me~

Welcome! We have cookies!... We actually dont... yeah. Still, I hope you like the forums!

Hello!

I'm new to the scene, but I'm in the process of building my first portable, an N64p.
I'm the new guy who posts a million questions to the forum. :D

EDIT:

I thought I would add this in here, but I'm planning on being a really active member of this community and I can offer my skills if they are needed at all. I do cyber security work, so I can check to see if the site is vulnerable to any malicious behavior if you want. I can program in a C++, C#, python, with basics in web stuff. So if you guys need any help or want someone to do some beta testing for you, hit me up. I'd love to contribute.
