Battery Clips

Has anybody employed battery clips in a project before? What are some good clips to get? How did you design around them to include them in a case?

I have no clue what that is but look at how fully assembled battery holders work and I think you're smart enough to figure it out.

No, the battery goes on the other side (on the right with respect to your drawing).

I've incorporated them into a WIP build I've been slowly chipping away at
I got the clips from those 18650 holders (like 2.50 ea from china)
Design was just measure the part that slides in and build around it, the pins (at least the ones I got) have a tab that bites into the plastic after you slide it in so it goes in easy, but won't fall out
