@ShockSlayer @Gman @cheese @Shank I'm currently thinking about making my first portable, maybe the first ever done in my country (Brazil). It's gonna be a GC Portable but using a Wii motherboard cause Nintendont is way more compatible with games than Swiss. I've read the trimming guide multiple times, and I feel comfortable with most of it, but there's this MX chip relocation I can't figure out how to do properly. The circuit protection/battery current limiter Pic has a pink line, but it does not tell what to do. There's just a B+ point, which i supposed to be Battery Positive, is it right? Also, about the custom regulators, should they be soldered to only one of the points shown in the guide, the rest being alternate points or should I solder it to every same-colored point? I currently have access to a 4-layer and 6-layer board, being this mod strictly for GC games I won't use WiFi or Bluetooth, is there any difference between them? I know 4-layer boards generate less heat and consumes less power so the battery lasts longer, but is it any easier or more difficult? Sorry you're having to spoon-feed me, but I couldn't find any pics from the "finished" board
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!
