Question Wii USB not working no matter what

I've shortened, twisted, and resoldered these usb wires for a long time and my USB still isn't working on my Wii trim. I'm using 32 awg magnet wire, twisting it extremely tight with a drill, soldered it to the 2 different sets of vias multiple times, and I even desoldered a spare USB 2 port and soldered directly to that but no matter what my USB just refuses to work. I don't really know what to do anymore and I think i might just use SD if thats possible. The only things connected to that trim right now is the RVL-PSU and my Bluetooth relocation. Any help would be extremely appreciated as it would suck to have to get another Wii or something and try again. I can't take new pictures right now so here's an example of what my wires look like right now from earlier, when I was trying to troubleshoot in the BB discord.

Meu USB também não estava funcionando, e percebi que havia invertido os fios de dados D+ e D–.
Os pinos 2 e 3 estão trocados em relação aos pinos 6 e 7

em termos de cores dos fios.

That's not the problem, my data lines aren't switched and even if they are i've already tried swapping them over and over, still no usb

The Wii side looks clean, no visual issues that I can spot.

How long is the twisted pair? Can you show a photo of the PD module?

here are some new pictures, right now my wire is about 100mm in length although i did try shorter wire earlier without it working
