I have 2 wii power supplies. Both labeled RVL-002. Both presumably US market. One should go with my launch day Wii.

One says 52W and has an M in the bottom left like the Mariott logo. This one has a 'shadier' serial number almost hand inscribed in the bottom. I figure this one is launch day because it looks less refined.

The other says 53W and has ZEBRA in the bottom left. Larger font uniform serial number on the bottom.

Any insights on if either of these are launch?

Mine is an Australian model, and has the model number: RVL-002(AUS)
It's 52W.
It's from a black Wii console, so not launch.
It has a uniform serial number branded into the bottom.

Here are some of mine if it’s helpful

All power supplies are marked RVL-002. RVL-001 is the Wii itself (pre-Family Edition), and RVL-003 is the Wiimote (pre-Motion Plus).

I think the icon in the bottom left denotes who made the capacitors used in the power supply. The M icon is Mitsumi Electric, and Nichicon is a company that only sells capacitors. Zebra appears to be stamped on some N64 power supplies as well, so they must have been a historic supplier.

It's standard fare for a company like Nintendo to have multiple suppliers for bulk components like caps and resistors, so it's probable that launch units were supplied from multiple companies and there is no one true launch model. They all function the same, so aside from sentiment there isn't really a purpose to trying to keep them together.
