Screen has arrived finally, not sure which way the ribbon cable goes. Came with no diagram or anything.

Best guess would be the way you have them laid out. My reasoning is that when connected, the driver board sits fully behind the screen. If you tried flipping it, the driver board would stick out past the left side of the screen.

Pardon the crap quick paint job.

But don't go making assumptions and breaking stuff. Peek inside the connector and see where the pins lay.

I think there are pins on both side, but theres only a 1 sided connector, perhaps there's another version with a higher resolution?

On that driver board, pin 1 will be on the left side. There should be a tiny circle on the FFC connector.

On the display FFC there will also be a small arrow on the left side. That means they plug in flat (display facing up)

Yeah, that worked, video is a bit smudgy, but what can you expect with composite lol.
