Question Switch Lite - Failed picofly install attempt repair, green artifacting on screen fix?

Hi, I recently purchased a switch lite that was blue screening in order to repair it for some experience. The seller said they had attempted to install a picofly and failed, and the switch consequentially blue screened after that. I've spent about a week and a half attempting to repair it, I attempted the pressure test on the APU to no avail, i found out that the MAX77812 chip below the apu was damaged and replaced it, which "fixed" the blue light of death but the console refused to boot past a black screen afterwards. After that, I installed a picofly of my own hoping it would help me diagnose the issue. It boots to the No SD card screen just fine, but trying to boot into hekate i get the "update bootloader" screen and a bunch of weird green artifacting that sorta reminds me of my laptop when it had a failing stick of ram in it. I can boot into a rudimentary version of hekate but I can't see any information that it might've been able to give me, and attempting to boot into OFW just has the black screen again. The battery icon that appears when you charge the console when it's dead also appears to have the glitching. Anyone seen this before? I'm not too sure how i am supposed to diagnose this and I don't know if the damage was caused by me at this point. The mag wire soldering on the picofly is temporary, i just got a really bad ribbon cable and had to do it that way. The console came without any picofly either as it had already been removed but all of the points looked fine and my install works fine as well.
