A short time ago I posted about not being able to play Gamecube games off of my USB drive. I was previously using a Samsung FIT Plus 64GB drive. I took the advice of other guides and I purchased a 128GB SanDisk 3.2 Ultra Fit.
I formatted the SanDisk to Fat32 with 32kb clusters and transferred the files from the Samsung drive. When I plugged the new drive into my Wii, the Wii gave no video output. The only way I could access RVLoader was by using the "Installed File" option in Priiloader. RVLoader would also not load when I try to go in through the Homebrew Channel.
Once I was in RVLoader, Gamecube games still did not work, still giving the message that says "An Error Has Occurred."
I tried many things, including getting a fresh install of RVLoader on my Wii, changing my drives clusters to 64kb, and trying to reinstall RVLoader multiple times. This was to no avail as I RVLoader stopped booting and continues to not boot when I power on my Wii.
This confuses me, as I purchased the recommended drive and properly installed RVLoader. I cannot see any other issue that I could be having and I cannot find any other posts dealing with this issue.
I am trying this on an untrimmed Wii with its disk drive removed. I am using the bottom USB port when it is lying down. I have tried this with Super Mario Sunshine. I am using the latest version of RVLoader as well.
