Is it possible to wire up a Gc joystick on the retro bit controller

Y is on the left and X is on the right

Good question... I've got to pick up a controller for my N64 project and I've seen these around and was woundering the same thing. I know the analog stick on the original N64 can be crap so I wasn't sure which third party controller is the best/easiest to work with that will accept a GC joystick.

Do you have a picture of the joystick itself? If it's a basic potentiometer joystick than yes.

Yep, that board looks like a board for a potentiometer joystick, it should work with a standard gamecube joystick
