The title says most of it, looking online a lot of the major appeal of raspberry Pi kits is that no soldering is needed, but I got my first iron recently and was looking for a kit that needs soldering, or maybe some guides online on what I could do with a Pi that needs soldering, thanks!

i think the simplest you could do is soldering headers to a pi zero, but that’s kind of it with just a pi. other projects may directly solder wires to the gpio but it’s almost the same thing. with external parts like pcbs you can solder to the pads

I did a project to connect the Raspberry Pi pico to the Stone display, and since the display uses 8pin cables, I needed to solder the wires with the DuPont wires and then plug the correct wires into the TX and RX of the Raspberry Pi.
