Question ps2 trimming

Hello to all the members I am new to this forum I have seen amazing Wii mobo triming guide I am amazed to see it but I want to know why no one has tried trimming ps2 mobo to the size of Wii so it can be built into a psp case

Since the Nintendo consoles generally use older hardware, it's more power efficient so it can run on batteries.
Also, we just haven't gotten to it yet :p

The PS2 can be trimmed down slightly and can run on batteries. I get around 3.5 hours with a 5amp battery which is pretty decent. However, 79001 motherboards are more difficult/expensive to acquire than Wii motherboards so it's unlikely we will achieve the same success we did with the Wii. It also helps that there is a much more interest in portablizing Nintendo consoles rather Sony.
